What this article leaves out is that if you hand your unlocked phone to a police officer, they can legally search it. Unless companies develop a method that allows you to show officers insurance cards and driver license without unlocking the rest of your phone, don't.

These attacks tend to take 2-3 weeks if they recover without paying ransom so hope for the best, plan for the worst. Went to a branch today. No problem depositing and they confirmed they’re using paper ledgers to record all transactions. Anything requiring computers won’t happen.
