I disagree with a lot in David French's New York Times opinion piece, but he's got a point.

Originalism seems to be an almost direct copy of the Christian doctrine of biblical inerrancy which is also unworkable.

I'm in an ultra-MAGA part of the country where good church people spew hate at pride events and are disgusted about migrants. So when I got this from a local church all I could think was, "Meet this bar, and then we'll talk."

This might sound great at first glance, but it's a gimmick, a fiasco ready to happen. You can't get vital work done if you have to justify every purchase in real time. Plus, there's a lot we don't want China and Russia to know about how we're allocating resources. JFK, Jr. is dangerous.

Totally agree. The only motivation to continue blackouts is to have more people subscribe to cable or premium streaming services. I can't imagine the Braves would have smaller crowds at Truist Park.

I am an multi-racial progressive in the South among mostly White evangelical MAGA supporters, and related to some.

But the stereotype in White Rural Rage, like other blatant prejudices, is polarizing and just plain wrong.
