Seriously, this was the one time I felt, as they say, seen. There seemed to be a specific type of assholish behavior that felt a little too close to home, along with the slight physical resemblance. That, and plausible rumors of the origins of certain characters in certain tv shows.

It’s probably because I’m so utterly sociopathic, but it seems like I’m the only one advocating for accelerating Trump’s dementia by rage baiting him at every turn.

I’ve lived my life so that it’s completely plausible that I was the real life inspiration for the villain in The Lorax.

It’s so cool that cities are like “pweeease only turn your AC on if you’re actively dying and don’t go below 79 🥺🤘🏻💗” while the AI nobody asked for is slurping up the power grid to make 1 image of a girl with 5 tits

Trump may hate the name “Donald” but I will never use it in reference to him out of respect for a very good cat I once knew.

I also had a post go viral the other day , but it’s done absolutely nothing for my crusade for a Ben and Casey Affleck led revival of The Voyage of the Mimi.

I mean, god was fine with all the good sex and drugs going on in those towns until they started demanding angel flesh. Also, you should also not eat a fucking angel, that’s how you get weird flus and shit.

My interpretation of the moral to take away from the story of Sodom and Gomorrah is basically: if you happen across an angel in your daily adventures, treat it like a lost puppy and don’t “study,” fuck, or kill it for kicks. Other than that, get freaky however you want, with consent.

I actually would very much like a Voyage of the Mimi reboot with Ben Affleck as the Mimi’s captain 40 years later.

While the video focuses on a fairly extreme case, Binocular Vision Dysfunction, which strabismus falls under, is very common. (Anecdotally, the symptoms for BVD and ADHD are nearly identical.)

A video regarding how the brain adapts to divergent vision, in this case exotropic strabismus. Of particular note, I think, is the concept of hemispherical switching to deal with extremely disparate visual inputs.

Radio Free Albemuth might be the most outrageous of the 2-3-74 novels, but it might also be most prophetic: a fascist president secretly beholden to the Russian ruling party who's paranoid of organization called "Aramchek" ("Antifa") and a commands a right-wing mob called "FAPers" ("MAGA").

beef is what got Galileo arrested! the church wasn’t mad he wrote about heliocentrism (Copernicus did it years before and they were like *shrug emoji*), they were mad he took the pope’s money to write a book about how dumb the pope was the real story is so much funnier and bitchier than the lore

I feel like I’m the only one who watched Tales from the Loop on Amazon Prime, but it’s one of my favorite tv series in a while. It sort of reminds me of a sci-fi version of Krzysztof Kieślowski’s Dekalog.

What I find interesting about the John Ball quote is that it was explained to be a double entendre, you know, “delving” and “spanning,” nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more. There’s a vulgar synchronicity with the lines from Dick’s Sybil with the ideas of labor and sex that I find intriguing.
