The thing is, the disabled are a population of enraged people. The disabled are carrying a deep rage because not only is ableism embedded in nearly everything in our world, but people without our vulnerabilities are hostile to making anything better for us. Also society does not accept our rage.

Give to your community. Homelessness is going to be illegal, so give to orgs that help. Trans folks are in danger, so help those orgs. Give to food pantries. Give to youth programs, give to churches, give to arts programs. You can always help *someone*. And we are all gonna fucking need it.

Ppl are retweeting this and I just want to add that faxing is THE most annoying thing to do to your representatives. There are websites where you can fax for a small fee and those machines are LOUD and then at the very least they have to deal with all the print outs.

While this is true, it's also true that it didn't just manifest out of a vacuum & start there. There were things that preceded that. As there were things that preceded Trump too. There actually has been a very strong ideological shift within our most sovereign institutions over the course of our lifetimes that has led to them leveraging the law so that corruption is legal and enabled them to feed into their most authoritarian impulses over the table without fear of reprisal.
