Wisconsin Republicans went all in on voter suppression decades ago, allowing them to maintain a large majority in the legislature & strip the gov’s office of much of its power as soon as we got a Democrat back in it.
We’re basically the trial run for every fash power grab the national party pulls.

Oh okay, I think my confusion was coming from the replies.
I’ve enjoyed Extraordinary so far and that’s two seasons, but
a) It’s British so only 8 eps per season
b) It’s about super POWERS but kind of specifically not superHEROES so I don’t know if it counts

Wait, what do you mean by “original” here if adaptations of superhero comics are included?

Pair that with a number of folks saying this has been an “industry secret” for decades, and it seems more like the people who most likely might have an inkling are very carefully NOT going on the record supporting him while they wait to see what happens.

I actually think it’s fairly telling that the only people I’ve seen arguing that the source invalidates the information are people who DON’T seem to work with him and thus probably don’t have much direct experience of his personal conduct.

They don’t know that, though, and if it does, he’s been a reliable money maker. If it doesn’t, they can just present it as “we were gathering information BEHIND THE SCENES before making a public statement/taking action” which is basically not a falsifiable claim

Today, July 8th, is the 24th anniversary of the infamous "Paddleboro" raid, in which Attleboro, Mass. police broke up a BDSM play party of consenting adults, and charged one attendee with "assault with a dangerous weapon" for paddling the other with a wooden spoon.

It’s been almost 25 years and I STILL tell people about the bargain raw tuna we used to get from the 24-hour supermarket down the road in Tokyo when they discounted it at 2am

What this article leaves out is that if you hand your unlocked phone to a police officer, they can legally search it. Unless companies develop a method that allows you to show officers insurance cards and driver license without unlocking the rest of your phone, don't.

It tends to circulate more in the winter (not exclusively, ofc), so I’m not surprised if places with less winter have less of it.

Yeah, that’s why I think he must have been serving a crowd where this is the default, but… that’s not a lot of crowds. Does HE look very young? I can’t imagine you get to be an old bartender pulling this shit. Or maybe he’s from CA or CO? (Trying to think which states are Weirdest About Weight)

Quite seriously I’d assume this guy is used to serving a JUST over-21 crowd.

People (mostly young women) frequently order this to reduce calories per cocktail, but like, they order it as a “vodka soda with a splash of cranberry” or whatever. Someone who orders a “vodka cranberry” v obviously doesn’t want that!
