If the election goes the bad way I will be moving away to a remote location and shouting my poems into a hole I dig in the sand. My fear is that they will then have more of an impact. My bigger fear is that fascists will make it impossible for me to survive and so I'll be better off dead.

of warmth and acceptance
in my grandfather's embrace
the glory of his smile
when it shone my way

This reminds me of a lady I knew who used to go into charity shops looking for designer clothes which she would buy for dirt cheap and sell on ebay for a ton. She saw nothing wrong with it. It always bothered me that someone without much missed out on something nice because of her greed.
