There's one situation I see where that could be a problem: if the characters have all the good reasons to figure it out too and still don't. However, any good reason for them to fail at that could be very interesting (delusion, self-delusion, arrogance, simply being too dumb, etc).

Also, those stats may include people who triggered Copilot unwillingly while just trying to use Edge like a normal person. Microsoft is so used to forcing their new products down everyone's throat that they don't even question it anymore.

TL;DR: In short, "antimicrobial" means to kill or inhibit the growth of microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, fungi, protozoa), whereas "antibiotic" specifically refers to substances derived from microorganisms that kill or inhibit other microorganisms.
