I go to pride every year to bring the energy of a baffled, but supportive midwestern dad. I'm smiling, a bit bewildered, and clapping a good ten milliseconds behind the beat. I just hope you're all having fun out there
You're doing an incredible thing for so many people that you will never know or meet. You will make such an impact to some random young child or teen and give them the confidence or resolve to be themselves and feel "it'll be okay".
