It’s really disappointing to see some of the journalists I’ve respected (and there aren’t many these days) eagerly join in on the GOP/media ratfucking of Joe Biden. This is why Republicans do this shit: 1) because it works, and 2) even their targets sometimes help them do it.

Republicans didn't do this shit, Joe Biden did this shit. He should have complete a week-long whistle stop tour to undo the damage but he has yet to hold a press conference. What is the press supposed to do? Joe Biden has a PR department and it ain't the New York Times.
