Trying to force the issue past Biden consenting to drop out would be a total disaster in my opinion, and I definitely am not in favor of that. But it’s not impossible that his position could, uh, evolve if things get worse or there’s another public episode.

I feel like I'm losing my mind in all this. It's like if, in the HALLOWEEN universe, Dr. Loomis was running against Michael Myers, and Loomis was getting pressured to drop out for being old, but Myers wasn't getting any pressure at all for being a serial mass murderer.

I get the sense that D electeds feel like they're not being heard by WH. If they can meet with him, discuss whatever internal polling is freaking them out so bad, & he still says no, I gotta believe it'll stop there. Trying to force him out wld not improve the odds at all.
