I was just saying yesterday, as a high school teacher, I see a LOT of kids really stepping up to meet their challenges. "The kids are alright." I have more faith in them than I do in most current adults.

I had a kid (15 yr old boy) want to take a selfie with me (his 60+ science teacher) on the last day of school. I refused. He was hurt, but I explained I just don't want my photo out there, willy-nilly, where I have to say what happens to it. It's a sad place we've reached.

Thank you, I came for this comment. A salaried employee puts in their daily 8. You may "see" anywhere from 1-16 hours of "productivity" in a day but rarely exactly 8.
