we've also made pads that aren't just a bunch of old facebook memes i found in 10 minutes. instead of putting photo paper under acrylic panels we UV print directly over 3D printed cases and buttons we make ourselves. like a super high-res photo print applied to the surface of the controller

im biased because i make and sell leverless (hitbox style) controllers but even the smash-specific leverless boxes don't really provide an advantage. they have to be a nightmare for building muscle memory on and i highly doubt they're more ergonomic than a standard controller
