This is my favorite Mastodon video because of the bait-and-switch that they pull with the imagery. We doing an early 90s metal video? Not so fast!
They may not be the best live band, but they get the camp that comes along with metal for sure.

She watches my back while I work.
During my last meeting she bolted underneath my desk to alert me to the fact that the breeze was moving the door to my office. No protection from threats, just observing them

I am employed by a state healthcare agency in Massachusetts. It is really clear to me that they care about proactively protecting the health of the people of the Commonwealth. But if you need external proof that they really do care, see the below.

Presenting a poster at this conference & the poster next to me claims to be a mixed methods study. The only qualitative data come from open-ended Qs on a survey.
By the power of Creswell & Plano-Clark, I am going to strike them down for heresy.

Earlier this week I was talking w/a friend about a sexual medicine study I was once involved in. I wistfully mused “why can’t my current public health work be more exciting like that?”
Then this article drops yesterday. 😯

I am told that my grandfather (an engineer) was an artist w/profanity when he was working on cars.
I was reminded of this family lore as I was yelling unprintable things at the laundry that was falling off the drying rack. I of course being the culprit who places the laundry there in the 1st place.
