I was nearing the end of a longer park walk with our beagle when I spotted this cedar waxwing in the upper reaches of a dead tree. Light was falling so I was happy for the opportunity to get an image. It was my first cedar waxwing of the year.

Does anyone else stop when they see a covered bridge? I enjoy these mostly old pieces of the past. This restored, historical bridge is the only covered bridge in Mississippi.

I have one of my old business phones without a card. It has smaller memory, but still is a great camera for carrying. I also load podcasts and geocaches. It has had a great second life. I expect I am not the only one to do this.

This interesting mallard is the first I have noticed with a very prominent curled tail feather. It also has a shark fin on it's back. The tail feather was there in all my images. The shark fin was not.
