I do not know what the messianic nature of the extreme Zionism decried here is. I know what it is for the Christian Zionists walking hand in hand with these, but I don't know how the Jewish extremist version differs. Kahane became messianic at the end, very hard to find out what those ideas were.

FWIW, Olmert was not a Likud PM. Also, he oversaw the end of the implementation of the Gaza disengagement and offered probably the most Israeli territorial concessions yet to a Palestinian state while in power.
