well it looks like thanks to that urgent care visit i'm going to hit my deductible soon. Again. last year i got my hysto because i was hitting my deductible. wonder what i can do now. another sleep study, mayhaps?

I'm mad about this. We have bigger fish to fry and people referencing - properly - the Gilbert Baker Pride Flag does not in any way dilute the brand. You know what does? Having to change the name to the 1977 Pride Flag.

Trademark protection is ONLY retroactive to the point of the filing, so any items sold before April 30, 2020, are not covered by this legal threat, FYI.

The Foundation gained tax exempt status in May 2020, filing for the trademark of Gilbert Baker as a term in April 2020, with it registered fully in April 2021. The trademark ONLY pertains to clothing.

The Gilbert Baker Foundation, which, to be clear, does not even use the Gilbert Baker Flag with the Pink Stripe in its marketing of its own foundation (see below) is going after small time queer creators just for using the name referencing the creator of the flag with the Pink Stripe.

my father graduated high school in 1969. he knew they were on drugs. but i was a kid and apparently it was better for him to deny reality than have an honest conversation about a famous band being on drugs. what a dad.
