Incidentally, I'm old enough to remember when Republicans beat up Democrats for voting for Waxman-Markey in 2010, which scared Democrats into not acting on climate change for a decade. If Democrats don't get credit for acting on climate, they will think nothing is ever good enough and give up.

Autistic and non-autistic people stim, though autistic people stim more (obvs: autism diagnosis criteria). Stimming can be a mental distraction, or an outlet for positive or negative feelings. And when people suppress stimming due to social pressure, it sucks.

I loved this too! I remember when they started creating book jacket designs, I worried they would do something cringey. But the artists who did my cover were fabulous (also the cover is super stimmy, which is a plus).
