The landmark reversal nullifies all previously lawful forms of right and makes it very difficult for Americans to make ethical decisions or be generally decent human beings without facing criminal charges.

this entire crusade against diversity in hiring and admissions is based on the supposition that all white men are necessarily more qualified than any nonwhite person or woman who might be considered for the job. like, this lawsuit more or less states that outright.

We've been fighting a lot of fights over many decades - sometimes we win in ways that help people, and sometimes we don't. But what these guys have been doing is building up the infrastructure to start a civil war, and absolutely part of that is building up white nationalists cells for violence.

I would love to know the identity of these tenured law professors who claim Northwestern won't hire them because they're white guys, and that it hires undeserving people of color instead Like, perhaps Northwestern won't hire you because you're odious, bigoted, and not as smart as you think you are?

Durbin pulling his punches so as not to “ruffle the feathers” of Republicans is yet another example of preemptively attempting to prevent an expected backlash. Trying to placate the right in this way has failed over and over again, and it is important to note that the GOP rarely if ever does this.

I am so tired of the already elected saying that things hinge on the next election. Do more now and run on it. If I was president the day I learned that crimes were legal for me I might act on that knowledge and get the Supreme Court in line.

Maybe Biden’s not talking about court reform because he thinks it’s strategically risky to set that priority before the election, but if so, that’s a Chamberlain level error.
