I know, unfortunately, that it costs money and sometimes a lot of technical knowledge, but if you have any possibility of having yourself a place that goes by *your* rules, you should absolutely make the effort.

This is why when we took Side Quested off of Webtoons I wasn't so worried. We have our own website, we have it mirrored in other places. Flexibility is key to surviving between places that just keep getting worse.

And this is why I think no artist should *ever* rely entirely on a specific platform to reach their audience. You can - and should - use them to find people, but then, somehow, hold them in your own terms. If I had a shop on Etsy I would be closing it right now.
