More than 1.8m acres have already burned across the Brazilian Pantanal this year alone in fires mostly started by cattle ranchers, as climate breakdown prolongs the dry season.

The Pantanal is one of the most biodiverse places on Earth, and it's dying. 🌎

For the past three years, Catalonia has seen the least amount of rain since 1914.
2021, 2022, and 2023 all had record low precipitation.
This horrible drought can be seen in the Sau Reservoir, which recently dried to 1 percent of capacity.

❄️#Antarctic sea ice reached its annual minimum monthly extent at 28% below average;
❄️ #Arctic sea ice extent was 2% below average, well below the values of the 1980s and 1990s.
