Well I definitely want to ask because that sounds amazing, lol. I can definitely see how that's an issue, a lot of the invasive plants in the PNW are able to be pollinated with the local plants and it just further cements their population at the expense of the other.

Lol it just kinda looks like cardboard. It's a foam cork underlayment that's a bit more eco friendly than the plastic sheeting. But there was definitely water damage. Looks like the last owner threw new vinyl on a damaged floor to sell the place

That's what I'm going now, I've got about 10 new natives planted and a few more that are in my yard that I'm trying to nurse back to health. 5 native berries, 2 grasses, a couple pollinator plants and a Beaked hazelnut that seems to be doing poorly.
