“You don’t accomplish anything by posting” is such a ridiculous & boring take. I have learned so much from so many people on social media just from them posting. I have shared that information with others. We have changed our behaviors based on information to impact communities & ourselves.

I don't know that folks who haven't been paying attention realize how extremely powerful social media has been for allowing Disabled people who are otherwise isolated and excluded for so many reasons to connect and share ideas and be heard.

I have had the entire world opened up for me by being exposed to countless marginalized communities that I’d otherwise had very little opportunity to meet and learn from IRL. But I also had to do that *with intention*.

It’s funny cause people tell me *all the time* how they’ve learned from me and found community through my posts and been uplifted and connected to others and gotten tools to recognize and fight hate and felt less alone in the world. But I guess fuck that right? I’m not accomplishing anything.

Some days it really does feel like the world is ending but I try to remind myself the the generations coming up behind us are so much better then we ever were I wish they'd hurry and grow up already so we can hand them the broken batton.

It takes a bazillion times longer to do basic tasks with a chronic illness cause I have to take constant breaks. Fold the laundry, ice my neck, take out the garbage, ice my neck, wash the dishes, ice my neck, vacuum, ice my neck 😩😩😩
