Great fun running Wormsign for the Dune RPG (with more crunch) this afternoon. Climax involved a lasgun explosion in the mouth of a giant sandworm showering everyone in atomised radioactive spice. All in all a great afternoon. Being round a table, rolling dice and having fun, great for the soul. 😊

Aha, warm fuzzy memories. My first home computer, the Sinclair ZX81, with (wobbly) 16 k RAM pack. Same time as I took my tentative steps into roleplaying via the first two Fighting Fantasy books. One of my first programs on it was a dice roller to replace the homemade plasticine D6s I was using 🤣

In tonight's #RaclashCampaign #BRP we fought a giant, boated into the Narsi Forest and encountered a fetish of a dead boar wearing a golden crown and surrounded by almost architectural tree boughs bearing eldritch crystals, the whole scene was covered in big, black flies. We didn't wait around.

Fantastic listen! Cyberpunk RPGs passed me buy in the 90s, but I did dabble a bit post deep freeze with The Sprawl. Listening to this, the attraction now seems to make sense and starts an itch to run a Cyberpunk campaign. Let's mash up CY_BORG with Mythic Bastionland!!

Just finished the latest pod from @thegrognardfiles.bsky.social and while I never ran OG #Cyberpunk 2020 I nicked loads from its source books for our long-running Shadowrun campaign. From there we built a Martian PBM around GURPS and CthulhuPunk and at some point I *must* run some Cy_Borg.

It’s fantastic isn’t it. I’d recommend any journalism by Patrick Radden Keefe. Say Nothing was the best book I read last year. It made me think very differently about The Troubles.
