Wrapping up on Golden Axe the beginning of August (sad) so I'm on the look out for directing, storyboard (tv or feature), and development roles.

YEP. Worked full time in animation as a board artist and director while doing my books to keep me afloat (and further my animation career tbh) comics is a labor of love, not a means to a different end

dont get me wrong, I LOVE Hellaween, I even want to make more. But that's because I genuinely love comics as an art form!! when I hear this shit though it makes my brain do the kill bill siren noise

I keep hearing "just make a graphic novel" offered as advice to folks who are struggling in animation development, like publishing and web comics aren't also rife with problems and for way less money. andddd OOOUGHH being in the middle of that now, that sentiment really raises my hackles.

OOOHHHH gotcha gotcha I think even just making posts like this you're recognizing a pattern and vocalizing it. I hope that leads to trusting yourself to apply to things you KNOW you can do even if you havent done them on paper. Because you're super capable!
