This missile initiated its’ terminal dive, so the most generous interpretation would be an error by someone who programmed it’s flight/target coordinates.

Watched this clip of the show m.youtube.com/watch?v=hlUU... and it was scary that by the end I started to understand what they were saying.

They’ve already bled those territories dry in the first year. But yeah-if Ukraine falls, anyone that is left is meat for their meatgrinder, if/when they decide to move on to their next objective.

Yeah-it’s not coincidence that the two armies that pioneered airborne warfare were not exactly bothered by laws of war. But it proved effective in the first two years of war and other nations had to keep up, accepting unwritten assumptions about the conduct of paratroopers.

And was back then, but that’s how paratroopers dropped behind enemy lines operated-and that was widely understood. Shows how ruthless this war became.

I’m talking about the practicality of airborne warfare-you have people dropped behind enemy lines that need to wait sometimes for days for relief (that may never came-like at Arnhem), with limited supplies. That’s probably why the first paratrooper units were created by the Germans and the Soviets.

Everyone knew back then, that the paratroopers, regardless from which country they are, do not take prisoners-one reason they were so feared. It’s not like they have any rear area to bring them to or soldiers to spare for escort/guard duty.

To achieve big power you need ambition and a bit of a ruthless streak. Then, the most important thing is the ability to keep this ruthlessness firmly in check. When you see bad people, you almost inevitably see people who lack restraint.

This also forces people to replace phones more often (battery drain is ridiculous for web browsing now), so producers are probably ok with this.

They are pretty flexible in implementation of their criminal law (wire fraud being a prime example), so it could be true, but the decision then would be in the hands of prosecutors.

Same in Poland-it’s weird to give additional hurdle in the definition of this crime. Having counterfeit bills in circulation is harmful in itself, and motivation can (and should) be analyzed during the trial.

IMO he’s more like Freisler’s colleagues on the People’s Court (they were not prosecuted after the war, it must be said). Freisler himself was an entirely different thing-fanatical, psychologically unstable showman of the courtroom.
