Added to that, Biden signed the Parkinson's bill just last week. Is no one there following stuff like that? My husband has Parkinson's. This bill is a good thing. The NYT should be ashamed.

The idea that you can shoot someone with only minor damage is a TV/movie created fantasy. What's more, an FBI agent told me they were trained to aim for the torso, the largest target. If you draw your gun, you better mean to take someone down. A gun is not a toy or a prop.

I remember learning in school about how the spoils system of job awarding was changed into civil service with standards and fairness. Project 2025 suggests we undo all that and award jobs like candy for the good kids.

Happy Canada Day. I grew up in Detroit. Every year, Detroit and Windsor held fireworks over the river between the two countries some time between July 1 and July 4. It was a neighborly tradition.

The ed board of the Philly Inquirer is infinitely better than the NYT ed board, which is mostly Republicans who pine for the days before Trump. It’s a bad thing that NYT has over 9M subscribers. One thing all of us could do is tell our friends and family that NYT Politics and Opinion are trash.
