My wife has been working on me for years and years, and she has finally worn me down, and that is why I am headed to pick up some live chickens on my way home from work.

I'm told that poultry can be quite a henful at first, but their care is nothing eggstravagant.

Look on the bright side, they're a gateway drug for goats and a whole barnyard of other fabulous animals

An important question to ask your wife is, are these livestock or pets? If one gets sick, does it go to the vet or to the pot? You gotta figure that out upfront. I've watched this turn ugly in some families.
