I'm quite tolerant of being around weapons and guns. But at this point I think cons need a zero tolerance policy not because I'm afraid of getting hurt, but to deter the non-furry shitposting squads coming in and ruining everyone's time.

Not trans but do write queer content and I get the feeling. I think a lot of authors of varying backgrounds are getting worn down but have to keep on moving and keep on pitching since it's our life. Anyway, least we can do is spread the word of each other's work.

So things aren't going so well. I'm still not employed. I had two Really Solid final rounds last week that both turned into "Oooh, you were our second choice, sorry." I have unemployment, and "food stamps" so that keeps a roof over our head, and the kids fed... and that's it.
