We need to see the Supreme Court’s disastrous rulings in the context of the Right’s larger project to uphold traditional hierarchies of race, wealth/class, gender, and religion - all part of the attempt to halt the drive towards egalitarian, multiracial, pluralistic democracy.

Not only that, a true measure of a successful labor market should not simply be a “do you have a job or not?”. Can you afford where you live without aid? Can you afford an emergency? Do you have adequate retirement and savings? Most folks would answer no I believe.

Although the albums went down each time in quality, I would argue that Gish is a ten, Siamese Dream a nine, and Mellon an eight. The others unfortunately drop like a rock outside of a few tracks. I can still appreciate their unique sound.

The other obvious thing is that we can search and pry into Democratic politics and rarely—if ever—find Nazi references. This isn’t an accident; no one says or promotes fascist ideology randomly or for a joke. It’s a test of our boundaries, and many, many people are failing.
