this is important and matters because if it's not harris and she doesn't want any part of it, the scenario goes from "pretty implausible" to "utterly implausible and not at all legal in most states"
This is true, and yet it's *still* less disqualifying of the people pushing it than the sheer assholes who want Biden to be replaced by someone who's not Harris, and especially pundits who won't even suggest who that person is - because to name anyone is to demonstrate to absurdity of the idea.
That’s what I don’t understand about the lefties calling for Biden’s head. You know he’d be replaced with like, a Newsom, right? We’re not getting Bernie or Big Gretch or Prtizker, those people ostensibly have more smarts than that
I think Harris' primary campaign in 2020, and her candidacy for vice president, are indicative of an intense desire to be president. The vice presidency itself is not worth much.
Everyone at that level of politics is very ambitious or they would not put up with the BS it takes to get there.
This is the thing that I can’t get away from is there isn’t a hint of anyone who might be a replacement being interested; like you’d expect even a “Harris is 100% behind Biden and trusts his judgment whatever he decides” on background from her dog groomer’s cousin or something but zilch
