I’m a stupid Brit so miss the nuance of US politics, but the SCOTUS doing all the shit they’re doing now seems like either hubris, or that they know they don’t have much time. They can’t be popular with the public right now, can they?

He also used the court case as an excuse for not doing a ton of rallies. I think he doesn't have the energy for it, plus there have been half filled ones that are bad optics.

I see where you’re coming from but the polls, imperfect as they are, show consistent strength relative to other candidates. It’s hard for me to square that with the notion of him being spectacularly unpopular.
