Google’s emissions are up 48% in 5 years. Microsoft’s are up 30% since 2020. Those soaring figures are being driven by mass investments in data centers to power AI tools. Generative AI is a climate disaster and data center expansion must be stopped.

A lot of municipal races and ballot measures are decided by slim margins. Please DO vote to fund your library, have a non-homophobic councilperson, keep having a fire department (actual thing we had to vote on in Hamtramck), etc!!

I had this moment ten-ish years ago where a friend found out I have nice handwriting, and we both realized how long we had been friends without her having seen my handwriting. She put me right to work labeling jars for our canning club. And no handwriting is just the default now, even moreso!
