Biggest campaign story ever: using a private email server that could hold top secrets but doesn’t and could be breached but wasn’t.
Tiny story: stealing top secrets. Hiding them in a bathroom. Taking them to NJ. Showing them to foreigners. Meeting with foreign governments.
Also HUGE: server could maybe possibly lead to indictment (!!) but doesn’t!
not at all newsworthy: theft & obstruction leads to espionage act indictment and multiple counts but trial delayed by corrupt judge.
Not mentioned: Everyone in the Trump administration using emails that self-delete and secret messenger systems to communicate with foreign actors on unsecured phones.
Biggest story: "Biden failed the debate"
Tiny story: "Trump's buddies want him to win so they can criminalize all forms of content involing nudety including art, sculptures, and writing that mentions anything involing gender or sex"
Honestly I'm starting to wonder if the news business plan of the @nytimes.com isn't just attracting Dems panicked at what shit the paper is concocting to fuck them over. I think the best response for Dems is to abstain from clicking and unsubscribing.
that's the problem with people pegging republicans as evil from the get-go: they get away with obviously terrible shit because it's "expcected", and people hyperfocus on relatively small democrat fuck-ups becaise *they're* expected to be better
it's a real issue
If anything shows that the MSM just serves to amplify whatever Fox is screaming about, it’s this story. Those fuckers can’t form and drive their own frames to save their lives, especially not when doing so might break the artificial balance between the parties that they’ve created.
