It remains odd to think shouting at *anyone* is an effective way of winning their vote. Notice how Democrats never yell at White, suburban, swing-voting moms to get over themselves and do the right thing? You’d almost think the question is whom we think *deserve* to be campaigned for, and not *at*.

This framing sticks in my craw so bad. Everyone is responsible for re-electing Biden and the Dems except Biden and the Dems. We all have to compromise and shut up. They can freely do whatever destructive and self-sabotaging stuff they want and it’s our fault if they lose.

It's a truism in US poll analysis that even if a generic Democrat polls well against Trump, there's no such thing as a generic Democrat and every actually existing candidate comes with baggage. But in the UK they somehow found the world's most generic Labour PM candidate and absolutely cleaned up.
