Q: Why do far-right leaders around the world steal, misappropriate, launder, and embezzle money as they run?
A: They can always blame it on a witch hunt, political enemies, and sabotage even to the point of fundraising off their illegal grift.

It's a reminder that fascist have a right to everything but respect. We keep making the mistake that to be civilised we have to give everyone an equal opportunity to give their opinion, fascism should not and never be included in that if we really want to learn something from history.

Just about everything in WW2 was just an enhancement of the the technology gained by the end of WW1.
They even had a kind of drone/cruise missile, which was a big model plane with explosives, it would disconnect its wings after a predetermined time of flight. The Kettering Bug.

I've zero sympathy as what you're really saying is you've eaten all your cheese supplies and are trying to avoid all feelings of guilt. ππ

I also have no cheese as I am also a bad person with no will power.
I feel that if someone has a cheese selection they're really not trying hard enough. π€

Yep welcome to what 14 years of Tory just doing what ever the fuck they want. They leave us with 4 fascist with a seat in Parliament who aren't even a party but a business & a chunk of their election MPs probably only existed on paper.
We need 5 years of investigation & court case to cleanse the UK.

Yeah, the idea the media is making the same 'mistake' is laughable, they're doing exactly what they did before and will continue to do so until the media is broken up into truly independent news outlets.

Oh well two days of rain & more rain so no pyro shows this weekend. It was still a good weekend at the Hollycombe Model Show. The clear spells were warm and hinted at what a weekend it could have been.

Although I've not seen any mention of it there is the fact that river fishing is a big a industry/hobby in the UK and that's a lot of voters to piss off.

I had a left leaning lesbian now ex-friend who fell down the Reform hole because of immigration... racism.
Basically racism got fascist four seats in Parliament 2024.

As much as I would have liked to have been beautiful for me the worry & desire was to pass. Now I'm not going to lie that speaks also of my anxiety issues & need to go under the radar.
Never did the idea of the Op or HRT scare me, it was the idea of the struggle that held me back for decades.

Bad stuff happens & when we're struggling it feels like the universe is taking aim at us. Yes the bad stuff is bad, but making it somehow that we deserve it or it's personal is a sign of depression that needs working through.

If you don't have therapy booked in soon then see if you can get an early one in. Not waiting around was something it took me way to long to start doing. Why would I waste the therapist time as I'm not at rock bottom yet.π

If Starmer wasn't so busy playing politician with the the biggest garden fence splinter up his arse all election campaign, maybe he too could have shown courage supporting tans rights as protected in law and earned some more votes, plus maybe some of the respect he is missing.

As much as I distrust Starmer one thing I think we will see is a team ready to do the actual business of running the country, I don't think that has been the case since the Tories got their lazy arses in.

To me it always seems that people on the extremes really have a massive dose of narcissism whether they be on the far left or far right, worst for everyone of course if they're on the right as it's normally with a big lack of empathy.

Part of me hopes also that it was an election plan but If I'm honest I don't see Labour relaxing back into its left wing ways with Keir Starmer as leader.

Thanks to decades of right-wing media no one knows where the centre is anymore.
I used to call myself liberal, now I feel like I'm somewhere left of Trotsky.

At the end of the day Penny is a Tory so her turning on us to climb the greasy pole is about unexpected as hearing someone's pet Tiger attacked them.

One of the greatest success stories for the far-right was to make people forget where the centre actually is. Hence how we get light blue Labour.

I've actually had to unfriend someone on Facebook I've known for 2 decades because she's fallen down the Reform racist view of the world. I tried and tried but she's lost for now. A lesbian aligning with fascists just to be racist tells you so much about the UK right now.

For years Penny was one of the rare things, a good Tory. She was very pro LGBTQ+ people, I think she even got an award locally at some point. Then it was Leadership election time and suddenly trans people were ok to target to keep up with the other candidates.

Penny Mordaunt the back stabbing cow has lost her seat... that headline made me so happy.
So Penny was it worth stabbing all the LGBTQ+ support you had for a go at the Leadership???

Is this them trying to keep some power by rigging the Lords. Trying to do their best to at least slow & hinder Labour. Preserve the Tory Party in at one house of government.

Constantly moving where the political centre ground falls is how the right wing has transformed world politics.
Using all forms of media to sleep walk the populous into thinking even the mildest of left wing leaning as some kind of full on communism.
It'll only stop if the media moves to the left.

If any proof is needed the being trans or gay is natural it is the numbers of people born into right wing families, some of which never let that mindset behind even though they suffer for it.

They really don't like it being pointed out to them what side of human history they stand on. It would be nice to think some GC have a 'So we're the baddies' moment but the fact this went to court shows they're incapable of seeing their real selves.

Yep! We have the same in the UK, the Labour Party sucks less the the Conservative Party who have turned the country to into a pile of pish... so that's our choice. π
A vote for Tories here is like a vote for Republicans over there, a level of hell not seen outside of 1930s Germany.

The GRC has never been about any of this, it's for giving us and any partners more protection in matters of marriage & death. You also then have a new birth certificate that doesn't out you if you're living in stealth.

In this election if Labour is the correct tactical vote then I'm all in favour if that gets rid of another Tory. Obviously if a Labour candidate is an easy win or a transphobe then Green Party or Liberals would be my vote.
If we weren't destroying Tories then light blue Labour would not get my vote.

I still have a tiny bit of hope in me, in that the general public really don't care about trans stuff and on the whole actually LGBTQ+ supportive, so Labour with so much to do will just leave it to the professionals once more.
