All the waste of resources on something that is ultimately a false concept, and the line is, it will be better. Maybe. The corruption required for such an open charlatan trick! If society was less prone to greed and corruption, those servers would churn cancer cures and hunger solutions.

I don't normally play Devil's advocate, but I will here. I think that chatbots CAN get better, but only if we abandon this idiotic technology known as GPT. GPT can't get better for the simple reason that it's built on false ideas of how chatbots should work.

Is there any evidence that we've found a way to keep GenAI from lying? Or is this a fundamental problem with the approach that will mean its never fit for purpose. On a strictly personal level I've only once ever received an output that was accurate and complete.
