Excited that my poem "A Rahokan's Gem" will be in @omgjulia.bsky.social's Worlds of Possibility! In my quest to write more uplifting stories and poetry, I wrote this poem about a dragon's delight as he brings a gem back to his nest—and I couldn't have found a better home for it.

On the bright side, maybe it's inspiration for a horror story? Apex flash theme is Spider this month, that can't be a coincidence...

This also means that part is probably not helpful for debugging this issue. If the credentials don't let you in when you use a FTP application like FileZilla, then it could be an issue with the credentials or the server.

I can't be sure, but "advanced" and "proceed" make me think he's referring to accessing the FTP server from browser (which isn't really a thing anymore) - browsers throw up a security warnings for unsecured FTP sites, which you bypass by clicking "advanced" and "proceed" (see example in image)

Loved reading the backstory to your story.
I also write mostly without feedback, especially after subjecting numerous friends to my embarrassingly bad early writing. If only I could do it as well as you do!

If you've taken backups of your site before (or if your host does), the easiest way to fix this is wipe everything and restore from backup, which you can do yourself. Cleaning it up with plug-ins like Wordfence is another free option, but it'll depend on what the malware has done.

Intuitively, I didn't expect it to work out this way, feels like constraints would be constraining. Guess sometimes you just don't know until you try

Is it weird I actually like writing from prompts? And word count limits? There's something nice about reducing the number of possibilities so I'm not paralyzed by choice...

Seeing all these incredible published works by talented authors is both inspiring and intimidating.
For a glimpse of the opposite, here's a snippet from when I first started writing (i.e., 7 months ago). For context, this story was NOT humour/satire. Glad I can laugh at my past self now.

Good catch. Looks like BlueSky is parsing the exclamation mark as punctuation instead of part of the URL, quite a tricky problem. I'll message Radon and see if it can be fixed.

Nostalgic! Let's give them a small tribute:
---
I'd frolic as a tot
down Mulberry and Mott,
where frogs swam with vigor,
never growing bigger.
I've left those narrow streets,
found wide sky beyond this well.
Froggy, you can join me,
yet there you forever dwell.
