It’s unbelievable, but people in Ukraine - at least here in Bucha - are now really celebrating the Christmas Eve and Christmas in the new, “western style” on December 25. There’s shopping craze, Christmas carols all around. Ukraine in 2013 and Ukraine in 2023 are two totally different countries.

I have been trying to find some decent security people who loves researching security and digging down into systems, but many of them are not here (yet), so now i'm looking for über nerds who play around with systems and tech. Any recommendations?

So, Hans Gruber just fell off Nakatomi plaza, I'm full of food and Julmust, i can barely keep my eyes open to finish the XMas playlist, but i guess i'll finish this episode of 2 1/2 men (the one where Charlie almost sleeps with his half sister). Anyway, Merry Xmas to you peeps.

Probably won't be cheap initially but could push the prices down on the rest. Today, the 1TB cards are almost 3x more expensive than the 512GB cards. I rather buy more of the smaller ones (512GB) and swap them as needed than go for one big 2TB card that could break.

I always strive to learn something new every day, today i learned several things: 1. How to compile dotnet Native (AOT) files under Linux 2. How to run WinForms dotnet projects under Wine (even though .NET runtime 6 doesn't install properly).

Wanna go and finish my xmas shopping but it's wet outside (>0'C) and won't freeze until tomorrow. Just hope there won't be many last minute shoppers out on Saturday. Guess i could go in the morning when the temperatures drop, but everything won't be open by then. Decisions, decisions...

I remember when i lived in the countryside, 30-40 cm of snow on our driveways was not unusual and you had to lift your legs to get anywhere or you would get tired walking through the snow. When the municipal snowplough came along, we had walls of snow higher than a person.

White xmas my ass. The only part that is white is the continuously overcast sky, haven't seen the sun in days. It IS snowing in Stockholm atm, but the tiny flakes melt immediately once they hit the ground. Just a few weeks ago we had -16C and 10 cm of snow here, a record for Stockholm methinks.
