All the support places with jaw surgery are torn on if I just need to wait until swelling goes down or if my surgeon screwed me over. I dont see how my chin is gonna magically move itself another 5mm forward just from swelling going away.

Part of why volunteering works so well it's that it's only a few hours and 1-3 times a week. I think I could manage everything with a 3 day work week but I would need a job that pays like $50 an hour to actually live off of that and not be going into debt constantly

My last job was very inclusive, until I brought up in my review paperwork that their wages are impoverishing me and then they responded by firing me instead of giving me a raise that actually matched inflation. I am dreading job hunting.
