This is what blows my mind a lot of the time. Humans are inherently good. I don't think that belief will ever be ripped from me. But it's so baffling to think that and then see people actively celebrate bombings or war crimes, and be completely careless when their kid dies of measles.

Only differences are that guardians are fully visible even when not aggroed, yet the demon hands appear from nowhere, and guardians have decent telegraphing for their attacks whereas the hands attack almost immediately and punish you if you're even near them.

I think double digits is the sweet spot. +1 becoming a +2 might be utterly gamechanging for a system like D&D but for most games that's completely negligible and your brain will view it as such.

What I hate is the sudden nihilism people adopt when 100% game completion comes up. Like yeah, everything you do is also going to vanish and sooner than you think. Doesn't stop you from doing it. Building a shield from your fav media isn't anymore "productive" than beating a difficult game.

You cannot have withdrawal symptoms from not playing BG3. Withdrawal symptoms are things your body does in the abscence of a chemical it relies on, it won't happen because you're not allowed to do something entertaining for hours on end.

My family used to have an enclosed little holder for toothbrushes. Held them by the neck, kept the heads hidden and prevented them touching one another. Hank Green went over how easy it is to tell apart AI art from real art. Basically, whether or not your brain gets that initial flag to scrutinize the image is where most people go wrong. It's easy to tell if something's AI generated the moment you look at the details.
