The words in the constitution don't give the president immunity, nor was that the intention of the authors. But you must understand that the meaning of the constitutional vibes have evolved over time in a way only I can detect. Now there are penubras and emanations that tell me he is in fact immune.

The Framers wrote the Speech and Debate Clause because the structure of the Constitution wouldn't make legislative immunity clear enough. But when it comes to presidential immunity? All structure and vibes, baby.

The 6 hacks on this court will conveniently twist the intentions of our constitution to fit whatever their personal prejudices dictate. It also helps to get free trips, free luxury RV’s and huge amounts of money donated to their spouses pacs.
