This isn’t so controversial when you realize it’s just for cybersecurity. Right-wingers go so far as to bomb clinics, so their hacking efforts must be intense. Therefore PP needs weapons-grade cybersecurity.

Given that it only protects against government interference, and not private parties, it’s arguably half as protective as the EU Charter and ECHR. Plus there is a giant black hole where copyright is implicated. It only has slightly stronger protections where hate speech & defamation are concerned.

That rings extremely true but still fills me with rage.
There was this annoying article in the Economist being like “Aha! Finally we have proof that workers are more efficient in the office!” And it was about call center employees, not people who actually need to concentrate.
