I’m just beginning to read and already stunned at the conjoined male twins who shared a genital and the docs gave it to the “aggressive” male, assigning the other as female. They identified as male eventually. These docs don’t know shit about gender identity 🤦♀️

my family has an 83 year old developmentally disabled man who has lived with us since 2001. He grew up in an institution, and will occasionally drop statements like "hit me with a baseball bat" just out of the blue about living there. Those places were just evil

absolutely mind-blowing piece, just amazing love the very gentle but pointed reminder that it’s seen as “okay” when doctors decide to change an infant’s gender without their consent, but that somehow it’s not “okay” for young people to assert their own gender identities
