I should probably do this after caffeine but fuck it. We're seeing a lot of horrible things come to fruition at once that have been *most of my life* in the making and I am not young. I'm seeing a lot of "I won't vote for anyone who can't fix X" when X was set in motion in the 80s, Or the 40s.

Agreed. I also think that while the Supreme Court is a disaster and it will take decades to repair the harm they've done and will continue to do, the Supreme Court's power grab ends up granting a lot of power to district and circuit court judges. The presidency and congress pick their replacements.

Right. This is the long game that Mitch McConnell has been playing since forever, along with the help of the ultra-wealthy. And others were playing it before him. It’s going to take just as long to undo, if not longer. But it’s still devastating to see so many things happen at once.

I didn't pick Biden. I understand why he was picked, though. We really did need a safe choice to get Trump out, and we NEED Trump out because he's trying to create a dynasty. He's got a whole family of shitheads ready to wreck everything for a century. He got to pick two justices and look.
