My plan is to vote for who aligns most with the changes I want to see both locally and nationally. However, for presidency I will do whatever I can to keep a criminal who wants me dead out of office, and that means voting for Joe, because if I don't, he may lose, and if Joe loses, I'm in trouble.

This, exactly. I hate Biden. I don't want him. I think he's been monstrous to Palestine, awful in his defense of trans lives, and utterly incompetent in his response to the rising fascist tide. But when it comes to the presidential election, it's him or a fascist hell regime. Only options.

Same. I vote on policy alone. I also do must of my research and decision making around the debates and late end of the year. I'm not a campaigner. The election doesn't matter to me in June and July. It matters in October and November. Currently though, my votes are mixed and very purple.

What I truly want is the freedom to do anything without needing a license, deed, or accruing debt. In Seattle, I couldn't even park my vehicle without having to pay a huge-ass fine. It was so bad that I just got rid of it. Freedom taken away by bureaucracy. I was too poor to keep my paid-off car.

The thing is, I agree with this. Dems just push needless beuarocracy. My thoughts: if the conservatives lose enough in a row, maybe they'll actually change tactics and their approach to human rights yo instead focus on housing or economy, things which neither side currently do anything about.

Framing makes a huge difference sometimes! I do a lot of 2D and digital 3D. 3D is especially tough to frame, so I'll be wowed for you.

One of the nice things about leaving Twitter is realizing that this kind of “news” only exists in that specific petri dish. There are no normal people chatting about this at work, no stories on AP or BBC. Twitter gave me an exaggerated sense of their influence/importance.

It's not really the public community posting board it once was. More like a think tank for the uninformed and angry than a community. People agitated, agitating, or validating agitation has taken over social media, and anything else is just attention farming for ad revenue. There's little life here.

Tbh, kind of done with the internet. My computer is a place for games and hobbies. I don't really care about or even trust like 99% of what's on the web, so maybe it's best I just don't worry about it. It's fun to interact here and see things, but like, in a once a week kind of way.

Str8 up im not playing around anymore. Online leftists: problematic themes in media are not inherently evil. Media will depict racists, rapists, sexists, etc and that doesnt make the media itself or the creator[s] the same. There is a method to engaging the media with critical thinking skills

The nail in the coffin happened when I finally tried weed. I got really into doing it all the time because I enjoyed a little voice in my head that would say "I'm a girl" every time I got really comfy. Now my relationship to the drug is much healthier, as is my relationship to existence itself.

Why are you LGBTQ+? Correct answers only. It started when I first encountered a girl in preschool. From then on, I would dream about being one. When I was 15, I had a melt down thinking I was trans, then repressed the feeling for 10 years until I was mature enough to realize that's not a bad thing.

Meds are great and necessary with ADHD, but don't underestimate good coping strategies to keep you working when they're gone. Also, consider asking your doc about alternatives to stimulants. My doc gave me an anti-depressant instead of a stimulant. It works wonders and is always in stock.
