Good reporting on an entirely predictable problem. Fun fact: Airbnb also covers up thousands of sexual assaults every year! Its internal safety team has "cool-down rooms" to take a break from the trauma of what they hear. It's a bad company, a bad industry, and people should just stay in hotels.

I hate this guy. Premier Ford seems to have a huge obsession with beer being available everywhere in Ontario and for cheap (haha buck a beer). Perhaps soon he'll put beer in hospitals and schools because clearly he doesn't see the need to fund healthcare and education in a valuable way.

I just read an article that said "Why is it taking so long for your favorite movies and tv series to air? Blame the writers and actor strikes" No I won't. I'm blaming that ✨single✨ motherfucker at the studio who makes $250 million dollars a year who's one job is supposed to make this shit happen.

Ok, this didn't end up happening. 10 mins in and internet issues started. An hour on the phone with a tech determined the modem needs to be replaced. This is why physical media is important. Was able to watch the first hour of CONTEMPT instead.

I watched the Fifth Element last night, and I know this is an annoying thing to say, but it is nice to see an expansive sci fi world which only exists in one movie. No spin offs, no sequels, no prequels, just one story.

I admittedly haven't been to The Revue Cinema that often (usually when I've most wanted to go, tickets were sold out), but it being shuttered would be devastating for cinema fans in the city that are looking for something different. Their programming has always been amazing.
