Same thing happened when Covid first hit.
Medical professional worldwide advising that lockdowns should be enacted immediately.
Governments delayed for weeks and months, only making the situation worse in the long term.
Anyone going against their narrative was ridiculed online and in the press.

Actually made me cry a bit in relief to see both a doctor AND national anchors say out loud on national TV that this is about corporate worker exploitation and NOT science. Got me fantasizing this is a break in the dam and we can push back so hard they'll reinstate 10 days isolation guidance.
