NYT's recipe collection is nice & you can get a separate subscription to it. Otherwise, meh. Rolling Stone has had decent political reporting forever. WaPo retired Greg Sargent (& kept Ross-Douthat-in-a-skirt Megan McArdle - natch), but Sargent popped up at TNR, so subscribe there.

I was stunned to see Adam "Ruins Everything" Conover ranting on TikTok about how if you don't have NYT on your side, you KNOW it's bad, blah blah. I was like, "dude, do you not remember how they ran endless stories about Hillary's emails & none about Trump's long history of doing crimes?"
