Oh, yes, I remember exactly that being the reason I did so much phone reading. It's only really now I'm getting back into reading more physical books than ebooks. And The Scar is great - still dark, but probably more of a romp than the books either side of it.

This was the right decision. Dissolving in the lush, fecund linguistic magic of OAKMOSS AND AMBERGRIS was very much what I needed. Wish I didn't have work today. Or a vomit covered duvet that won't fit in the washing machine. But I did get transported somewhere wonderful for a few minutes, so 👍
