Then again, I had no other choice but to do the interview with the group members, because I needed the money to help my parents with their living expenses. Having to address Ayuso by her title was low-key a really humiliating experience for me. An experience I still do not want to live down.

When I got the note from the producers at Shine Iberia that my group was selected to interview Ayuso, I immediately had reservations about it. I was a bit angry over that fact, largely because of Ayuso's record. I knew what I was getting into. None of the other guys know my true feelings for her.

No politician made me uncomfortable up close than Isabel Diaz Ayuso. This is an extreme neoliberal politician who left dozens of elderly folks in Madrid to die when COVID-19 hit the city. And she is also an unapologetic Zionist who wholeheartedly supports Israel's genocidal acts in Gaza.

Just so the anime folks here know, a LOT of fansub projects and groups, especially ones who have been preserving older works, have been dissolving recently. Right as a lot of older shows are vanishing off streaming services. This is NOT a good sign.
